TL;DR: By using VentureKaro, you agree to use the platform responsibly. We provide AI-powered tools to help your startup — you own your data, we own the platform. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the VentureKaro platform ("Service") operated by the individual(s) behind VentureKaro ("we", "us", "our"), based in India. VentureKaro is currently a freelancer-built product in trial/beta phase.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account.

3. Services Offered

VentureKaro provides the following services through its platform:

AI-powered business canvas generation and startup validation
Financial tracking, P&L, burn rate, and runway analysis
Team management, task boards, and performance tracking
Document generation (NDA, contracts, offer letters, invoices)
Investor pipeline management and fundraise readiness scoring
Competitor tracking and market analysis
AI daily action plans and risk alerts

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway.
You authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Failure to process payment may result in suspension of your account.

5. User Content and Data

Your Data: You retain full ownership of all business data, documents, and content you create on the platform.
License to Us: You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
AI Processing: Your prompts are processed by our AI engine to generate responses. We do not store AI prompts or responses beyond what is displayed in the app.
Backup: While we maintain regular backups, you are encouraged to export and maintain your own copies of important data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or misleading information.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
Abuse AI features by submitting harmful, illegal, or manipulative prompts.
Circumvent any usage limits, rate limits, or feature restrictions of your plan.

7. Intellectual Property

The VentureKaro platform, including its design, code, features, AI models, and branding, is the intellectual property of VentureKaro and its creator(s).
You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on our platform.
Documents and content generated by AI on your behalf are owned by you.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific business needs.
We are not liable for any business decisions made based on AI recommendations or data analysis provided by the platform.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Account Termination

By You: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from Settings.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Any outstanding payments at the time of termination remain due.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. For significant changes, we will notify users via email or in-app announcement.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Before initiating any proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
